Flood Watch issued August 9 at 7:04AM EDT until August 10 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Albany NY
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of eastern New York, including the following
areas, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Northern Warren,
Schoharie, Western Albany, Western Greene, Western Schenectady,
and Western Ulster Counties.
* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches with locally
up to 5 inches are expected within the Watch area as Debby
crosses the region.
