Flash Flood Warning issued August 7 at 6:53PM EDT until August 7 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 653 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across portions the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Although the rain is beginning to lighten up in some
areas, there remains the potential for flooding across parts of the
warned area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Easton, Talbot, Denton, Federalsburg, St. Michaels, Preston,
Matthews, Tanyard, Cordova, Griffin, Harmony and Skipton.
Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
