Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 6 at 7:57PM EDT until August 6 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 756 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Derry to near Mount Pleasant to near Uniontown,
moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported trees and wires down across
Westmoreland County.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Connellsville, Monessen, California,
Mount Pleasant, Scottdale, Charleroi, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna,
Blairsville, Youngwood, Derry, Delmont, West Newton, Lawson Heights,
Brownsville, New Stanton, South Connellsville, and Perryopolis.
