Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 6 at 6:41PM EDT until August 6 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 641 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near New Brighton to Toronto to 6 miles northeast of
Freeport, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
Locations impacted include...
Cranberry, Weirton, Steubenville, Franklin Park, East Liverpool,
Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Wellsville, Economy, Ambridge,
Wexford, New Brighton, Toronto, Beaver, Calcutta, Baden,
Wintersville, Rochester, and Ohioville.
