Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued August 6 at 3:00PM EDT until August 6 at 3:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 259 PM EDT, one severe thunderstorm was located near Mars, or 8
miles east of Cranberry, moving east at 20 mph. Another severe
thunderstorm was located near Russellton, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.

Locations impacted include...
Ross Township, McCandless Township, Cranberry, Franklin Park,
Aliquippa, Shaler Township, Plum, Hampton Township, New Kensington,
Lower Burrell, Harrison Township, Economy, Ambridge, Wexford, Fox
Chapel, Arnold, Tarentum, Baden, Natrona Heights, and Springdale.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
