Flood Watch issued August 6 at 2:54PM EDT until August 7 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Columbia, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Schuylkill and
York.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow moving heavy downpours will be capable of 1 to 2 inch
per hour rainfall rates through late tonight. We expect local
rainfall amounts to average between 1.5 and 2.5 inches with
local amounts over 3 inches through late tonight.
