Description
All of the Yankeetown low lying areas are still sitting in a foot or more of water. If you are not currently in Yankeetown, we are not opening the roads yet for passing. If you leave Yankeetown, you will not be able to return.
High Tide is coming back at 3:00 pm once that has come, we will re-evaluate and make a decision on when we will allow for residents to return. This is due to the fact that all roads have not be reviewed by emergency or utility personal to deem safe for everyone.
If you have any urgent needs but not an emergency, please contact Town Hall at 352-447-2511 and we will see if we can meet that need.
