Special Weather Statement issued August 4 at 1:57PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

At 157 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Ocala Airport to near Salt
Springs. Movement was north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Ocala, Rainbow Lakes Estates, Melrose, Fort McCoy,
Citra, Hawthorne, Archer, University Of Florida, and Sparr.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern and
northeastern Florida.
