Special Weather Statement issued August 2 at 8:28PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 828 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dallastown, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire,
Shrewsbury, Codorus, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, Stewartstown, Glen Rock,
Jacobus, Windsor, Yoe, Cross Roads, Railroad, Brogue, Loganville,
Winterstown, Seven Valleys, and Felton.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
