The Aspinwall Police Department would like to remind residents of a few safety tips as we enter the final month of summer. As always, if you see something, say something and call 911.
1. LOCK YOUR DOORS! Do not leave valuables or cash in your car. If you must leave items in the car, lock them in the trunk.
2. SLOW DOWN! Be alert for children playing in neighborhood. Young children may be more concerned about catching a ball that rolls into the street than watching for vehicles coming toward them.
3. STOP at STOP SIGNS! More children are out playing during the summer.
