Heat Advisory issued July 31 at 8:15PM EDT until August 2 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Afternoon heat index values peaking near 100 degrees.
* WHERE...Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon,
Perry, and York Counties.
* WHEN...From noon Thursday to 8 PM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...High temperatures and humidity may cause heat illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an
air-conditioned room.
Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles
under any circumstances. This is especially true during hot weather
when car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of
minutes. LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK.
