The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20
NM...
* Until 815 PM EDT.
* At 712 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 nm east of Yankeetown to 7 nm southeast of
Crystal River to near Bayport, moving west at 5 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Locations impacted include...
Ozello, Crystal River, Hernando Beach, Bayport, and Yankeetown.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
