Special Weather Statement issued July 23 at 7:58PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

At 758 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Florahome to near Anthony. Movement was
northwest at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Ocala, Interlachen, Keystone Heights, Melrose, Citra,
Hawthorne, University Of Florida, Sparr, and Florahome.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
