Special Weather Statement issued July 19 at 4:36PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL
At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rochelle, or 10 miles southeast of Gainesville, moving northeast at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Melrose, Hawthorne, Cross Creek, Orange Heights,
Gainesville Airport, Newnans Lake, Rochelle, Micanopy, and McIntosh.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
