Flood Advisory issued July 18 at 7:36AM CDT until July 18 at 10:45AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected as a line
of heavy rain pushes to the south from the Hill Country into the
I-35 corridor.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Lee, Llano, Travis and
Williamson.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 734 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville,
Taylor, Buda, Elgin, Bastrop, Burnet, Marble Falls,
Kingsland, Giddings, Smithville, Llano, Blanco, Granger,
Bertram, Lexington and Round Mountain.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
