Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 16 at 8:13PM EDT until July 16 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 811 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Codorus to Stewartstown to Christiana, moving
southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Parkville, Shrewsbury, Codorus, Quarryville, Stewartstown,
Glen Rock, Pennville, Gap, Jacobus, Delta, and Wakefield.
This includes Interstate 83 from mile markers 0 to 10.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
