Special Weather Statement issued July 14 at 2:25PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 224 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dallastown, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, Shrewsbury, Stewartstown, Glen Rock,
Jacobus, Windsor, Yoe, Cross Roads, Railroad, Brogue, Loganville,
Winterstown, Seven Valleys, Felton, and Fawn Grove.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
