* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Western Lycoming County in north central Pennsylvania...
* Until 615 PM EDT.
* At 523 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Avis, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Williamsport, Montoursville, Jersey Shore, Duboistown, Waterville,
Cogan Station, English Center, Trout Run, Little Pine State Park,
Loyalsockville, South Williamsport, and Garden View.
Radar has indicated rotation within this severe thunderstorm.
Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop
quickly during severe thunderstorms.
This includes Interstate 180 from mile markers 19 to 29.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for north central
Pennsylvania.
