Heat Advisory issued July 8 at 9:29AM EDT until July 9 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Heat index values up to 101 expected for portions of
South-Central PA and the Middle Susquehanna Valley.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an
air-conditioned room.
Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles
under any circumstances. This is especially true during hot weather
when car interiors can reach lethal temperatures in a matter of
minutes. LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK.
