Description
As of the latest forecast, Tropical Storm Beryl is predicted to strengthen to a hurricane and make landfall near Palacios and Matagorda. Since Taft is no longer in the cone and is on the west side of the storm, the impact will be greatly reduced. Current forecasts indicate 4-6 inches of rain and wind gusts of 35-40 mph. We encourage residents to stay informed by monitoring official updates and ensuring they are prepared for any changes.
