* Until 730 PM EDT.
* At 644 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Dillsburg,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
York, Weigelstown, Middletown, Steelton, Hampton, Shiloh, West
York, Grantley, Valley Green, Boiling Springs, Manchester, and
Emigsville.
Radar has indicated rotation within this severe thunderstorm.
Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop
quickly during severe thunderstorms.
This includes the following Interstates...
The Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 239 and 240, and from
mile markers 243 to 254.
Interstate 83 from mile markers 21 to 38.
Interstate 283 near mile marker 0.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Very heavy rainfall is occurring with this severe thunderstorm, and
may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for south central
Pennsylvania.
