Description
The following roads will be closed for road construction:
July 2 - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Locust Lane
July 3 - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Sprenkle Road
The road is open to local traffic only. All residents and emergency vehicles will be allowed in. Please follow the directions of the construction crew and be vigilant for workers and equipment in the roadway should you need to be on the road. Please drive carefully.
This roadway surfacing project is known as a cold-in-place paving project. You will notice that the roadway surface will look like a hard pack dirt surface. It is indeed a hard and drivable surface. The roadway must stay in this condition for approximately 2 weeks to allow the base to dry and cure. It will not damage your vehicle, or leave any residual product on your vehicle. It will appear like a milled surface and very safe to drive on. After the 2 week period, the roads will be closed again for the final top coat paving.
