The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northeastern Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 333 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Plum, or near
Monroeville, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.

* Locations impacted include...
Penn Hills, Monroeville, Plum, Murrysville, New Kensington, Lower
Burrell, Harrison Township, O'hara Township, Oakmont, Fox Chapel,
Arnold, Tarentum, Springdale, Brackenridge, Verona, Blawnox, and
Cheswick.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 47 and 57.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 83 and 84.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
