Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 17 at 5:44PM EDT until June 17 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 543 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles west of Indiana to near Greensburg to near
Avella, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement and trained spotters.

IMPACT...Trees snapped and uprooted. Power outages can be expected.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
Monroeville, Moon Township, McMurray, Greensburg, Weirton,
McKeesport, Jeannette, Canonsburg, Vandergrift, Kittanning, Apollo,
Gastonville, Shaler Township, Plum, and West Mifflin.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across the warned area. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.

Wind damage with these storms will occur before any rain or
lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover.
