You are invited to a sendoff for the South Williamsport softball team. Please stop by and watch the girls as they make their final preparations for the state championship game. This Thursday morning, June 13th @ 10:45 AM, at the South Williamsport School District Softball Field, we will be introducing the team to the community, providing a brief sendoff message, and giving them a final “good luck” as they prepare to leave for State College on Friday morning. Our championship game will be at 11 AM, Friday, June 14th at the Nittany Lion Softball Park.
After Friday’s championship game, please feel free to line the borough streets as we welcome the team back to South Williamsport to celebrate their great accomplishments this spring. We will be welcoming the team back to the community starting at the Arch Street Bridge, continuing down Euclid Ave, Riverside Drive & Southern Avenue, and turning onto Percy Street, ending at the high school. We will try to update everyone to the Team's approximate arrival back into town by the District's Social Media Accounts. We look forward to you joining us for these exciting times.
