Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 27 at 9:44PM EDT until May 27 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

At 944 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Greensboro to Griffin to near Skipton to Breezy Point,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Easton, Centerville, Talbot, Denton, Centreville, Federalsburg,
Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely, Trappe, St. Michaels, Preston, Oxford,
Goldsboro, Queen Anne, Smithville, Grasonville, Starr, Copperville,
and Jumptown.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
