Special Weather Statement issued May 27 at 12:42AM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 1241 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Middletown, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
York, Hershey, Weigelstown, Elizabethtown, Middletown, Mount Joy,
Palmyra, Hummelstown, Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West
York, Maytown, Grantley, Campbelltown, Valley Green, Manchester,
Hallam, Emigsville, and Marietta.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
