Special Weather Statement issued May 26 at 11:47PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 1147 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gettysburg, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Weigelstown, Hampton, Shiloh, Dillsburg, Lake Meade, Dover, East
Berlin, Siddonsburg, York Springs, Heidlersburg, Hunterstown,
Franklintown, Wellsville, Ski Roundtop Ski Area, and Messiah College.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
