Special Weather Statement issued May 26 at 11:23PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 1123 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Gettysburg to Emmitsburg to near Thurmont
to near Frederick. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Gettysburg, Parkville, Littlestown, Codorus, McSherrystown,
Spring Grove, Glen Rock, Pennville, Bonneauville, New Oxford, East
Berlin, Lake Heritage, York Airport, Abbottstown, Seven Valleys,
Glenville, Two Taverns, Gettysburg National Military Park, and
Gettysburg College.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
