Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 25 at 6:13PM EDT until May 25 at 6:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 611 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pleasant Hills,
or near Bethel Park, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Bethel Park, McMurray, McKeesport, Gastonville, West
Mifflin, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, Whitehall, South Park Township,
Munhall, Jefferson Hills, North Versailles, Brentwood, Swissvale,
Pleasant Hills, White Oak, Monessen, Clairton, and California.
This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
