Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 25 at 5:22PM EDT until May 25 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 522 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Leetsdale, or
over Moon Township, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Ross Township, McCandless Township, Moon Township,
Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Hampton Township, Robinson Township,
Cecil-Bishop, Economy, Bellevue, Kennedy Township, Ambridge, West
View, Stowe Township, McKees Rocks, Coraopolis, Avalon, Baden, and
Sewickley.

building.
