Flash Flood Warning issued May 25 at 4:57PM EDT until May 25 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 457 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch
of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported road closures in Oakmont due to
flash flooding.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Monroeville, McKeesport, Indiana,
Vandergrift, Homer City, Apollo, Plum, West Mifflin, Murrysville,
Wilkinsburg, New Kensington, Lower Burrell, Munhall, Harrison
Township, North Versailles, Swissvale, O'hara Township and Forest
Hills.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
