The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
East central Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Northwestern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 345 PM EDT.

* At 304 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Munhall, or
near Pittsburgh, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.

* Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Monroeville, McKeesport, Plum, West
Mifflin, Baldwin, Murrysville, Wilkinsburg, New Kensington, Lower
Burrell, Munhall, Jefferson Hills, North Versailles, Swissvale,
O'hara Township, White Oak, Clairton, Forest Hills, and Wilkins
Township.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 48 and 64.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 72 and 84.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
