Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 22 at 11:19PM EDT until May 22 at 11:45PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 1119 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Erie, moving
east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Corry, Edinboro, North East, Union City, Girard, Waterford,
Albion, Wattsburg, Northwest Harborcreek, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park,
Wesleyville, Lake City, Cranesville, Platea, Mill Village, McKean,
Elgin, and Northwest Harborcr.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
