Flood Warning issued May 22 at 9:29PM CDT until May 22 at 11:30PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Texas, including the following
county, McLennan.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is ongoing or imminent. It will take
several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
urban drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Emergency management reported
that the flooding situation is improving quickly.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waco, Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Woodway, Lacy-Lakeview,
McGregor, Mart, Beverly Hills, Lorena, Bruceville-Eddy,
Moody, Valley Mills, Riesel, Crawford, Golinda, Hallsburg,
Lake Waco, Northcrest and Lake Creek Lake.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
