ROAD CLOSURES: Memorial Day Parade
On Monday 05/27/24 starting at 8:50 a.m. there will be several road closures in West York for the Annual West York Memorial Day Parade and Veternans Memorial Ceremony.
Traffic traveling through West York on W. Market St. (Rt. 462) is encouraged to find an alternative route or detour using Hokes Mill Rd., W. King St. and Overbrook Ave.
The parade route is as follows: Starts on S. Clinton St., east on W. Market St., north on N. Highland Ave., west on W. Philadelphia St., north on N. Sumner St. and east on Orange St., ending at the West York Veteran's Memorial at Orange St. and N. Adams St.
Most streets will reopen at the conclusion of the parade, however N. Adams St. @ Orange St. and the area around the Veteran's Memorial will remain closed until the conclusion of the ceremony.
