Flash Flood Warning issued May 18 at 6:14AM EDT until May 18 at 7:15AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 614 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding
occurring in Coraopolis due to heavy rain. Between 1 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.75 inches
in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Moon Township, Franklin Park, Shaler Township, Plum,
North Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Hampton Township, Scott Township,
Wilkinsburg, Robinson Township, New Kensington, Lower Burrell,
Harrison Township, Economy and Dormont.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
