Flash Flood Warning issued May 17 at 5:57PM EDT until May 17 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 557 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain. Flooding has been reported in Baldwin and Duquesne. Between 1
and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to
0.1 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Monroeville,
McKeesport, Plum, West Mifflin, North Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin,
Upper St. Clair, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg, Whitehall, South
Park Township, Robinson Township, Munhall, Jefferson Hills, North
Versailles and Brentwood.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
