Landslide Remediation Municipality of Penn Hills Allegheny County S.R. 2059 Long Road
This letter serves as notification of a highway maintenance project that is located within the Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation plans to perform landslide remediation work on State Route 2059 Long Road, between State Route 130 (Beulah Road) and Pentland
Drive.
Work in this area will begin on or around Wednesday, May 15, 2024, weather dependent. We anticipate the work to be completed in approximately two to three weeks.
Traffic on S.R. 2059 Long Road will be detoured during construction. The designated detour route will use Frankstown Road and Beulah Road. The detour is approximately 3 miles.
