Special Weather Statement issued May 15 at 10:06PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 1005 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cedar Park, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Taylor,
Granger, Anderson Mill, Serenada, Windemere, Leander, Hutto, Lago
Vista, Hudson Bend, Liberty Hill, Jarrell, Thrall, Weir, Georgetown
Dam, and Sun City.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
