Flood Watch issued May 11 at 2:09PM CDT until May 13 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central
Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas,
Bell, Bosque, Comanche, Coryell, Dallas, Ellis, Erath, Falls,
Freestone, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Lampasas,
Limestone, McLennan, Mills, Navarro, Rockwall and Somervell. In
northeast Texas, Anderson, Henderson, Leon and Van Zandt. In south
central Texas, Milam and Robertson.
* WHEN...From Sunday morning through early Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches with isolated amounts up to
4 inches.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
