Each year, on the second Saturday in May, letter carriers collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries across the country. This food drive, organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers, is called Stamp Out Hunger.
This year's Stamp Out Hunger is Saturday, May 11. Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox on Saturday, May 11, and your letter carrier will handle the rest.
