Description
Met these fantastic Ladies at the Trail Head, for what has now become one of their annual stops. Their journey has brought 24 female cyclists and three female guides across the country from San Diego to Saint Augustine. They’ve ridden about 3100 miles one day at a time with daily distances from 23 miles to 119. They ride every day except for one weekly rest day. One of their guides is a chef and she cooks dinner for them at night out of the back of a trailer. They are from all over the country. One of the Ladies was a former County Commissioner from Pennsylvania. The company that offers the tour is called WomanTours. They are out of Rochester NY. It’s a very small company that caters to only women.
They will spend the night in Palatka before concluding the trip in Saint Augustine tomorrow. We wish them safe travels and look forward to seeing them every year.
