Two ECHO Grant Opportunities for Child Care Providers

Description
First, the ECHO innovation Grant program is being administered by the folks at Community Connections for Children. This is intended for established programs.
Second, the BLOOM/ECHO Home Based Provider Grant Program is administered by YCEA’s BLOOM Business Empowerment Center and is intended for home-based providers.
Please be sure to share these grant opportunities with your residents. Flyers for both programs are included in the attachment.
The ECHO (Every Child Has Opportunities) Initiative has opened TWO grant opportunities to support new and home based, and already established early childcare providers across all of York County, exclusively. Both grant programs are officially live as of this morning and will remain open through May 23.
The BLOOM grant program, highlighted below, is for startup, and not yet opened, home based provider businesses.
1. ECHO Innovation Grant Program- For questions regarding this program, please direct them to Katie Caples, ECHO Director at kcaples@cccforpa.org and www.echoyork.org
• To directly fund early childhood educators who present creative solutions to increase capacity & quality.
• Grants ranging up to $50,000 for already established providers in York County.
2. BLOOM/ECHO Home Based Provider Grant Program- For any questions regarding this grant program, please direct them to Marlena Schugt mschugt@yceapa.org.
a. To support the creation of more home-based provider businesses across York County and support existing home-based providers.
b. Grants ranging from $5,000- $20,000 to support startup costs related to establishing a home-based childcare business in York County.
