NOTICE TO BIDDERS
CRAFTON BOROUGH
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
Proposals will be received by Crafton Borough through PennBid until 10:30 a.m. prevailing time on June 4, 2024, for the following project:
STEUBEN STREET & LINDEN AVENUE SIGNAL UPGRADES
This project involves upgrades to the signalized intersection of Steuben Street and Linden Avenue in Crafton Borough. The upgrades include the installation of new traffic signal equipment including traffic signal supports, traffic signal controllers, radar detection, acoustic preemption, vehicular and pedestrian signal heads, pedestrian push buttons, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and ADA curb ramps. All associated traffic control and restoration is also included, complete in place.
Copies of Drawings, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Proposals and Agreement, and all information related to this Solicitation are available at no cost on the PennBid site (www.PennBid.net).
All proposals must be submitted electronically via PennBid (www.PennBid.net), before 10:30 a.m., prevailing time on June 4, 2024. At that time, Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. No hard copy bids will be accepted.
Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this Project.
Proposals shall be made to Crafton Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee.
Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement upon acceptance of the Proposal from the successful Bidder.
