Description
The Volente Fire Department now has on-site capability to connect lost pets with their owners. The VFD Auxiliary purchased a Universal Scanner so community members don’t need to find a vet to scan a found pet. You can also have your own pet scanned to verify contact information is up to date and accurate. No appointment is necessary but as usual an emergency call will take priority. NO ANIMALS MAY BE LEFT at the Fire Hall as there are no provisions to keep them for any period of time. This service is a direct output of the community support of the VFD Auxiliary fundraisers.
