Description
Drought conditions have been slowly improving across our region. Our main water source, Lake Belton, is now above 75% capacity. Therefore, water restrictions are being downgraded from Stage 2 to Stage 1 effective immediately:
Stage 1 Response – Mild Water Shortage Conditions.
Target: Achieve a voluntary 8% reduction in daily water demand.
Water customers are requested to practice water conservation and to minimize or discontinue water use for nonessential purposes.
