Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 17 at 7:26PM EDT until April 17 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 725 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ellwood City to near Aliquippa to Hooverson
Heights, moving east at 45 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR SOUTHERN BUTLER, BEAVER AND NORTHEN
ALLEGHENY COUNTIES.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Extensive tree damage and widespread power outages. Mobile
homes will be heavily damaged. Expect considerable damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, Butler, Franklin Park,
Aliquippa, Beaver Falls, Monaca, Shaler Township, Plum, North Side
Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Hampton Township, Scott Township, Wilkinsburg,
and Robinson Township.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for western,
southwestern and west central Pennsylvania.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
