Special Weather Statement issued April 15 at 3:27PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 327 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gettysburg, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hampton, Lake Meade, Dover, New Oxford, East Berlin, Aspers,
Biglerville, Abbottstown, York Springs, Heidlersburg, Bendersville,
Idaville, and Gardners.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
