Flood Watch issued April 14 at 5:04PM HST until April 15 at 6:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI
...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED FOR KAUAI...
...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR OAHU MOLOKAI LANAI KAHOOLAWE
AND MAUI...
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Kahoolawe.
* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periods of heavy showers associated with a slow moving front
remain possible through Monday. Conditions will steadily
begin to improve from west to east tonight through Monday as
drier air moves in.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
